OnlyAI — Go-to-Market Status
Weekly Summary — Aug 12–19
The shift:Email-only outreach hit a wall. 464 emails sent with 73% open rates and 60% click rates — but zero real replies. The report resonates, but the CTA isn't converting. So we made three big moves: went omnichannel with LinkedIn, massively scaled email infrastructure, and rewrote all messaging from scratch.
LinkedIn is live:Jose's Sales Navigator account is now connected to Reply.io with 721 leads across two campaigns. These are the same executives who engaged with the email report — now getting a personal connection request from a real founder, not a cold email from a sending domain.
The lead database exploded:We sourced 24,000+ verified construction executives (C-Suite and Founders, US, 21-500 employees) — every one with a LinkedIn URL, company name, company domain, and verified email pattern. This isn't a list we bought. We built it. And the search was free.
New messaging — 4 offer tests:The old approach (report distribution) proved people are interested but didn't convert to conversations. We built 4 new email campaigns with completely different psychology — each designed to get a reply, not a click. Plain text, no tracking pixels, no marketing speak. They read like emails from a human, because that's what they are.
Infrastructure for scale:4 new domains, 8 new inboxes warming on Instantly.ai. When they're ready (~Sep 1), we go from 100 emails/day to 400+. Combined with LinkedIn doing 30 connections/day, we'll be touching 430+ new prospects daily — with 24,000 leads to feed the machine.
Key Metrics
New Sales Campaigns — 4 Offer Tests
Each campaign uses a completely different psychological angle. All are plain text, no tracking pixels, conversational tone. Designed to get replies, not clicks.
Offer A: "The Expensive Calculator"
ReadyPsychology: Opens with a question about their estimating process. Not a pitch — a genuine question they know the answer to. Builds curiosity, then offers a one-page breakdown of how 3 GCs cut estimating time by 5x. No call required.
Offer B: "The Uncomfortable Math"
ReadyPsychology: Leads with a specific dollar amount ($2.3M annual rework cost). Positions Jose as the anti-vendor — "most AI for construction should be thrown in the trash." Final email offers a cheat sheet of what works vs. what's a waste of money. Reply "send it" = lowest friction CTA.
Offer C: "The Bet"
No-Brainer OfferPsychology: Complete risk reversal. Jose bets $100 (via Venmo) he can find $200K in savings in 20 minutes. If he can't, the prospect makes $100. Memorable, shareable, and completely de-risks the meeting. Follow-up lists the exact 3 areas where every GC leaks money.
Offer D: "The Anti-Pitch"
ReadyPsychology: Subject line is "don't buy AI." Tells the prospect to run from AI vendors. Shares a story of saving a $75M GC from a $180K/yr AI contract — solved 80% of their problem for $12K. Positions Jose as the trusted advisor who saves you money, not the vendor trying to take it.
